People need to understand these Heroes lives totally changed in a flash! Most of them are married with small children and are starting a whole new life.

We strive to raise money in numerous ways.  Donations, Corporate Sponsorships, the sale of Wrist Bands, Disciple’s Crosses, Golf Shirts, Special Events, and writing of Grants.

Money we raise is not limited to but is targeted to the following:

* Help additional family members attain transportation and lodging to visit their wounded family member Military Hospitals in the Country;

* Provide additional prosthetic needs;

* Arrange for wounded Heroes to attend events with their Heroes, by paying for transportation, meals, lodging, etc. It is really amazing to  the changes in these Heroes lives when they meet one of their Heroes or attend an event like those above. The most amazing things is their Attitude- they do not consider themselves HEROES, they say “We joined the Service to protect our Country.  We knew the possible consequences before we joined.  We were just doing our job!”

One of our goals is to have professional sports team players, celebrities, Politicians, and Media Personalities wear the wrist band to show their support.  

* Provide additional living expenses, some of these families require the Spouse to quit their job so they can take care of their injured loved one.

* To help build one handicapped accessible house per year.

Kyle Burleson and His Family from Springhill, Louisiana will be the recipients in 2006. A great organization ‘Homes for Our Troops” has already donated $150,000 which allowed ground breaking to occur in Sept 2005.  Total costs are estimated at $350,000. Completion will hopefully be accomplished late spring of 2006 if enough funds are raised.

* We are flew E-5 James Mouton (lost left leg) from the Dallas VA Hospital to New York on June 26, 2006 to witness his son graduate from High School.  First person in their family to ever graduate.

* Provide expenses for our Heroes for a second honeymoon (a first in some cases) or a family vacation when they return from Iraq.

* Raise funds for Heroes like Sgt. Brian Wilhelm to train for the 2008 Paralympics or any other activity of interest.

* Really anything we can do to show our appreciation and Enhance the Quality of Life for Our Heroes and their Families.

CAREER SUPPORT is VERY IMPORTANT to ensure our Heroes are successful and able to provide for their Families.

We are developing developing a Mentor Network to help the wounded Hero prepare for a career as a Civilian.  Several have reenlisted because they have no other source of income or meaning in life. There are several organizations that raise money for our servicemen and women’s families who lost a loved one but there are only a few that I am aware of that is specific in providing funds for our disabled Veterans coming back Iraq.

PURPLE HEART ($1000 or higher donation)

-        Receive ten American War Heroes Disciple's Crosses and ten Wristbands, a framed American War Heroes Certificate of Appreciation, recognition on the American War Heroes’ website, to include your business website (banner or link), and a complimentary dinner for ten at one of our Sponsorship Fundraiser Dinners

RED ($600-$999 donation)

-       Receive six American War Heroes Disciple's Crosses and six Wristbands, a framed American War Heroes Certificate of Appreciation, recognition on the American War Heroes’ website and a complimentary dinner for six at one of our Sponsorship Dinners.

WHITE ($400-$599 donation)

BLUE ($200-$399 donation)
